Last week we organized a seminar together with TradeCloud with our joint customer Heering. The theme of this seminar was sharing information with suppliers.
With traditional companies, the order goes after order via a buyer (whether or not by fax) to the supplier. TradeCloud offers companies the opportunity to share their needs with suppliers via a portal. As a result, a large number of non-value-adding (order) processes are already being canceled.
More and more of our customers also safeguard the knowledge of suppliers in our Merkato software. As a result, they make work preparation unnecessary not only for themselves, but also for their suppliers.
During the seminar we showed how the knowledge of Heering's supplier of switch boxes is linked to Heering's quotation generator. This allows the control cabinet supplier (via TradeCloud) to see in real time how many of its components are in the pipeline and to base its decisions on this. Even shorter delivery times and even less unnecessary paperwork is the result.
